About

About the Course

The programme is built around three daily training and competition sessions led and supervised by staff from the Valencia CF Academy at the club's own Training Centre. A separate specialised goalkeeper session runs every day, focused on technical work and on integrated dynamics with the outfield groups so that goalkeepers practise decision-making in real match situations. A daily workshop on the academy's core values — valentia, sentiment and germanor — sits alongside the football work.

What’s Included

The residential package covers coaching and competition at the Valencia CF Training Centre, accommodation with breakfast and dinner at a four-star hotel beside the centre, all meals and snacks during the day, complementary activities, private bus transport to off-site activities, the Mestalla Forever Tour, two complete VCF Puma training kits with shirt, shorts and socks, a welcome pack with T-shirt, cap and gymsack, a personalised participation diploma and a medical coverage programme with an on-site nurse.

Accommodation

Residential participants stay for five nights in double or triple rooms at a four-star hotel located next to the Valencia CF Training Centre. Breakfast and dinner are served at the hotel. Club staff supervise the group at the hotel continuously throughout the stay, and a special dinner and closing evening event are held on the final night to mark the end of the week.

Meal Plan

Full board is included. A morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and water are provided for all participants during the day at the Training Centre, with menus supervised by the VCF Academy nutrition department and adapted to different needs and dietary intolerances. Breakfast and dinner are served at the hotel for residential participants.

Activities & Excursions

Beyond football, the daily schedule includes recreation, socio-educational workshops and a session at an indoor swimming pool. Participants also take the Mestalla Forever Tour, an educational and recreational visit to the club's historic stadium. Private bus transport is provided for activities held away from the Training Centre.

Facilities

The camp runs at the Valencia CF Training Centre in Paterna, the club's own academy base, with outdoor football pitches used by the VCF Academy programmes. Healthcare support is available on site through a medical coverage programme with a nurse present at the Training Centre. The indoor swimming pool and the Mestalla stadium visit take place off site, with club-arranged transport.

Camp Experience

The camp is designed for boys and girls who want to train the way a Valencia CF Academy player trains, in the same setting and with the same coaching staff. The week mixes serious football work with the social side of a residential stay: shared rooms, group activities, a stadium visit and a closing evening event. Registration is handled online and confirmation is sent by email, with documentation for the residential stay included in that confirmation.

More about this camp

The residential VCF Summer Camp is run by Valencia CF at the club's own Training Centre in Paterna, on the edge of the city of Valencia. It is the setting the VCF Academy uses year-round, and during the summer weeks it is handed over to visiting boys and girls who want to train the way an academy player trains. Coaching is delivered by staff from the various VCF Academy programmes, following the club's own methodology rather than a generic camp curriculum. The football content is dense. Participants take part in three training and competition sessions each day, and goalkeepers additionally have a specialised daily session focused on technical work and on decision-making in real match situations, with dynamics integrated back into their outfield groups. Alongside the pitch work, a daily workshop introduces the three values the academy builds its identity on — valentia, sentiment and germanor — which gives the week an educational spine as well as a sporting one. Days are not only football. The programme adds recreation time, socio-educational workshops and a session at an indoor swimming pool, with private bus transport arranged by the club for anything that happens away from the Training Centre. One of the highlights is the Mestalla Forever Tour, an educational and recreational visit to the club's historic stadium, which for many participants is the first time inside a LaLiga ground. Choosing the residential option changes the shape of the week. Participants stay five nights in double or triple rooms at a four-star hotel located next to the Training Centre, with breakfast and dinner served there and Valencia CF staff supervising the group continuously throughout the stay. On the final night the hotel hosts a special dinner and closing evening event to mark the end of the week. During the day, meals and snacks are provided at the Training Centre, with menus supervised by the VCF Academy nutrition department and adapted to different dietary needs and intolerances. Kit is included rather than sold separately: every participant receives two complete VCF Puma training kits with shirt, shorts and socks, plus a welcome pack containing a T-shirt, cap and gymsack, and a personalised participation diploma at the end. A medical coverage programme is in place, with a nurse on site and healthcare support available at the Training Centre. The camp is organised into several weekly shifts across the summer, each running from Sunday to Friday for residential participants and Monday to Friday for those attending on a day basis. Groups are formed by age and level, and the residential and non-residential options accept slightly different birth-year ranges, so families comparing the two should check which one their child falls into. Registration is completed online, with payment by card or PayPal and a confirmation email that carries the two forms — a declaration of fitness for sports activity and a data-protection consent — that must be signed by a parent or guardian and brought to the camp. For families weighing a club-run football camp in Spain, the appeal here is specificity: a single professional club, its real training base, its own coaching staff and a residence a short walk from the pitches, rather than a franchised programme delivered on rented facilities.
