TECS Puerto Kids is a residential English immersion camp for children aged 7 to 13, hosted on the campus of Colegio El Centro Ingles in El Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz. Mornings combine dynamic English classes covering listening, reading, writing and speaking with project-based work, while afternoons and weekends bring beach sessions, a surf afternoon followed by a barbecue on the sand, a trampoline park, a water park, the Tree Adventure zipline excursion and the camp-wide Clash of the Colours team game. Campers stay on campus in shared dormitories with round-the-clock supervision from teachers, monitors and a dedicated welfare team, and all activities are included in the base programme.

About
About the Course
English lessons run in the morning and are built for camp, not for a classroom: dynamic, playful and driven by interaction between campers. The first part of the morning works through listening, reading, writing and speaking with games and a workbook on an eight-day cycle; the second continues with project-based learning. The share of English use rises gradually until campers speak only English, including among themselves.
What’s Included
The base programme covers tuition, residential accommodation on campus, full board and every listed activity and excursion, so families are not asked to add extras for the standard camp day. Sessions run in two-week blocks, with a longer four-week option across the first half of the summer.
Accommodation
Campers live on the campus of Colegio El Centro Ingles in shared dormitories that take up to fourteen children, with staff on site around the clock. Boys and girls are accommodated separately and the residence sits inside the same grounds as the classrooms, sports facilities and dining hall, so children do not travel between sites during the camp day.
Meal Plan
Full board is served on campus. The kitchen cooks in-house around the Mediterranean diet, with fresh produce and a rotating menu, and the team adapts meals to a range of dietary requirements when families flag them in advance. Beach days and excursions are covered by packed meals or a barbecue on site.
Activities & Excursions
Afternoons and weekends are the other half of the camp: beach sessions on the Cadiz coast, a surf afternoon that ends with a barbecue on the sand, a trampoline park, a water park, the Tree Adventure zipline excursion, an excursion to the Calas de Roche coves near Conil, and the camp-wide Clash of the Colours team competition. Football, basketball, padel and swimming run through the week.
Facilities
The campus offers air-conditioned classrooms with interactive whiteboards, indoor and outdoor sports facilities including football, basketball and padel courts, an indoor swimming pool, a dining hall and roughly five thousand square metres of pine woodland used for evening games and open-air activities. The beach is about ten minutes away.
Camp Experience
The camp is designed so that younger children can settle quickly: supervision runs around the clock through teachers, monitors and a dedicated welfare team, groups are small enough for staff to know every child, and the day alternates between structured English work and play. Parents receive guidance on how to keep the language going at home once the session ends.

The core English programme at TECS Puerto Kids. Mornings are split in two: the first part works through listening, reading, writing and speaking with games, dynamic activities and the Masterpack workbook on an eight-day cycle, and the second part continues with project-based learning. English use is increased gradually until campers speak only English, including among themselves.
Classes are held in the morning and are deliberately different from academy-style lessons: dynamic, playful and built around interaction between campers to push speaking and listening.
Speaking and listening are the priority, with grammar, reading and writing supported through projects and everyday camp life.
