Ski Camp at Espot for Ages 8-14

Six full days are spent on the slopes of Espot Esqui, in the north of Catalonia. Two hours of ski-school lessons a day are included, and each participant chooses skiing or snowboarding at the time of registration. The camp is aimed at beginners and intermediate riders, and a level test is offered at the end of the stay. Helmets are provided for everyone and wearing them is compulsory. The programme is given as a guide and can change with the snow conditions.

It's a fixed all-in package per participant. The package covers travel from the chosen French departure city — a flight from Paris to Toulouse and then a private coach to the centre — accommodation and meals, the ski-school lessons and lift access, and the supervising team. Insurance, assistance, repatriation and medical costs are covered in full, and telephone assistance is available around the clock. An identity card or passport, an exit authorisation for the minor with a copy of the signing parent's identity document, a copy of the family record book, the vaccination record, a health information form and a European Health Insurance Card are required.

The group is housed at the foot of the pistes in a building with capacity for thirty-six, in rooms of four to six beds with a bathroom either in the room or on the landing.

Meals are part of the fixed package.

Skiing or snowboarding fills the days. In the evenings the team runs themed activities and big games, and outside there are igloo-building and snowman competitions.

Accommodation at the foot of the slopes with room for thirty-six, multi-bed rooms with a bathroom in the room or on the landing, and direct access to the pistes of Espot Esqui. The resort sits beside the Aiguestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici national park.

Groups are around twenty-four participants, with a minimum of twelve for the departure to run. The team is led by a BAFD-qualified director selected by the operator's head of education, with one BAFA-qualified counsellor for every eight to ten young people and a welfare assistant holding first-aid certification.
