Skills in Action (Sports + Language & Power Skills)
We'll let you know when this camp adds new dates.
A day-camper version of the Sotogrande summer camp on the Andalusian coast, running from morning until evening without overnight accommodation. Day campers join the same programme as boarders: a morning sports course — golf, tennis, padel, football, riding or water sports — followed by an afternoon language and life-skills programme taught in Spanish or English, plus evening activities. Families meet the camp at a designated meeting point in Sotogrande. Programmes are grouped by age, from primary-age children through to a counsellor training track for older teenagers.

About
About the Course
Day campers follow the same programme as boarders: a two-hour morning sports course in the camper’s chosen discipline, then an afternoon block of language and skills classes. Younger campers follow the Life Skills programme, teenagers the Power Skills programme, and those who want to focus on the language take the intensive Spanish track. Older students can join the counsellor programme and train alongside the camp team. Classes are practical and activity-based, and the second language continues into sport and free time.
What’s Included
A day place covers the sports course, the language and skills programme and the daytime activity programme, from mid-morning until evening, without overnight accommodation. The camp uniform and the horse riding and water sports morning options are charged in addition. Stays are booked by the fortnight or for three weeks.
Accommodation
No accommodation is included: day campers go home each evening. Families drop off and collect at the camp meeting point in Sotogrande. Campers who would rather stay on site can book the residential option instead.
Meal Plan
Day campers are on site over the middle of the day and through the afternoon activity programme, so they eat with the camp during those hours. The camp does not publish a separate meal plan for day places, so families should confirm what is provided when booking.
Activities & Excursions
Mornings are for sport — golf, tennis, padel, football, riding, dance and fitness, or water sports such as paddle surf, kayak, catamaran sailing and wing foil at the sailing club and beach. Afternoons bring the language and skills programme, swimming, games, theatre, karaoke, dance and music. Weekend activity varies by programme, and the first week includes a Saturday session.
Facilities
The camp uses sports venues across the Sotogrande resort — golf courses, tennis and padel courts, riding stables, football pitches, the sailing club and the beach — and the Cortijo Finca La Alcaidesa estate for the pool, dining room, lounge and classrooms.
Camp Experience
A good fit for families already on the Costa del Sol or staying nearby who want a full, active day for their child without a residential stay. Day campers join the same groups, sports and language programme as boarders and are supervised throughout the camp day.
