About

About the Course

Tennis is the core of the camp: fifteen hours a week on six regulation synthetic-grass courts, coached by instructors of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation. Training is split by level, from children holding a racket for the first time to those already competing.

What’s Included

The stay is sold by the week or the fortnight, full board included. An optional insurance cover is offered, a discount to returning participants and to siblings.

Accommodation

Children sleep at the Hotel Polsa, a mountain hotel the camp keeps for its own guests. Rooms have been renovated and have private bathrooms with a shower.

Meal Plan

Full board at the hotel, with two choices at each main meal planned against age-based dietary tables.

Activities & Excursions

Beyond tennis: horse riding at several levels, climbing on an artificial wall, archery, Crazy Jump, football, volleyball and basketball, and creative work in dance, guitar, aerial silks and percussion. Excursions include the Sentiero della Pace, a half-day mountain walk past First World War forts, and the tree-top course at the Parco Avventura di Polsa, included on fortnightly sessions. Gardaland and the Cavour water park are optional.

Facilities

Six regulation synthetic-grass tennis courts, an artificial climbing wall, an archery range and riding facilities; the hotel pool is opened at set times under supervision when it rains. Safety equipment is provided for riding (helmet and body protector), climbing (harness, ropes, carabiners) and archery.

Camp Experience

The day runs from an 8:00 wake-up to lights out at 22:00 — training, activities, meals, a siesta, evening entertainment and free time, with times varying by age group. An assistant is awake overnight and a doctor is on site twenty-four hours a day.

Holiday System

Holiday System is an Italian camp operator based in Mori, in Trentino, running residential summer camps for children and teenagers in the mountains of Trentino-Alto Adige. Its camps take over whole hotels for the season — Hotel Polsa at Polsa di Brentonico, at 1,244 m in the Monte Baldo Nature Park, and the Villa Waiz and Villa Flora hotels in the park at Roncegno Terme — so the children live, eat and take their activities in the same place. The programmes range from outdoor survival and bushcraft to tennis and multi-sport, and to an English camp with native-speaker teachers. Each session has educators day and night and a doctor on site around the clock.
