A coach-travel beach holiday for older teens on the Italian Adriatic, based in a three-star Jugendtours hotel in Rimini Miramare. Days are spent on the operator’s own private beach about 250 m from the hotel, with sun loungers and parasols reserved for the group and free use of the beach sports courts. The programme mixes a daily activity and animation schedule, creative workshops, a beach volleyball tournament and a day at Aquafan, one of the largest water parks in Europe. Half board is included, and optional excursions can be booked locally.

About

About the Course

This is a holiday programme rather than a taught course. There are no lessons and no language classes: the day is built around the beach, sport and a supervised activity and animation schedule, with creative workshops such as making surfer bands and beaded bracelets. Group leaders travel with the participants and stay on site for the whole trip.

What’s Included

The package covers the return journey by modern coach, nights in a three-star Jugendtours hotel in Rimini Miramare, half board, the full activity and animation programme, a reserved sun lounger and parasol on the operator’s private beach, free use of the beach sports courts, a day ticket for the Aquafan water park with a pizza and a free drink there, and entry to the operator’s beach volleyball tournament. The outward and return legs are overnight coach journeys.

Accommodation

Accommodation is a three-star hotel used by the operator in Rimini Miramare — for example the Hotel Pecci or the Aramis, depending on the departure. Rooms are three- and four-bed with shower and WC, most with a balcony and air conditioning. There is free WiFi in the hotel lobby and, in most cases, a safe in the room or at reception. Rooms are mostly four-bed; a double room can be booked for a supplement.

Meal Plan

Half board is included: breakfast, and in the evening either a three-course menu or a buffet. Lunch is not part of the package, which leaves the middle of the day free for the beach and for eating out — pizza and pasta places are within easy reach of the hotel. One pizza meal with a free drink is included on the water-park day.

Activities & Excursions

Beach days on the operator’s own stretch of sand about 250 m from the hotel, with free use of the beach sports courts. A daily activity and animation programme runs alongside, including creative workshops. A day at Aquafan, one of the largest water-slide parks in Europe, is included, as is the operator’s own beach volleyball tournament with prizes. Excursions — for example to Venice, San Marino, or a sailing trip — and other extras are bookable locally; the operator publishes the full list of local excursions to booked participants about four weeks before departure.

Facilities

The hotel has a lobby with free WiFi and safes in most rooms or at reception. The operator keeps a private beach section about 250 m away with sun loungers and parasols reserved for participants, and beach sports courts that participants may use at no extra cost.

Camp Experience

The trip is aimed at older teenagers who want a beach holiday with company and a programme rather than a family hotel. Days are spent on the sand and in the water, with sport and workshops on offer; evenings centre on the resort’s nightlife and the group programme. Participants are supervised throughout by the operator’s team. The operator notes that this trip is not suitable for participants with reduced mobility.

More about this camp

This Jugendtours trip takes older teenagers to Rimini Miramare on the Italian Adriatic coast by coach, with the outward and return legs travelled overnight. The group stays in a three-star hotel used by the operator, in three- and four-bed rooms with shower and WC, most with a balcony and air conditioning, and half board is included: breakfast and an evening menu or buffet. Lunch is left open so the middle of the day belongs to the beach.\n\nThe operator keeps a private beach section about 250 m from the hotel, where each participant has a sun lounger and parasol, and the beach sports courts are free to use. A daily activity and animation programme runs throughout, with creative workshops, and a beach volleyball tournament is organised for the group. One full day is spent at Aquafan, one of the largest water-slide parks in Europe, with a pizza and a free drink included there.\n\nExcursions such as Venice, San Marino or a sailing trip can be booked once on site, alongside other local extras. A tourist tax is payable at the hotel, and a double room is available for a supplement instead of the standard four-bed room. The operator notes the trip is not suitable for participants with reduced mobility.
