A bushcraft and survival camp for 7- to 17-year-olds at Roncegno Terme in the Valsugana, run by the Italian operator Holiday System with SAFE Adventure, a bushcraft school certified by CSEN-CONI. Children learn to light a fire safely, build a shelter, navigate with map and compass and read the ground, walk the paths of the Lagorai and the Valsugana, raft on the Brenta, shoot a bow and take part in Archery Combat, and practise first aid and mountain-rescue drills. Yoga, mindfulness adapted to their age and a night of star-watching balance the days, and the camp ends with a night in a tent. Children live in two Habsburg-era villas set in a three-hectare private park, with a doctor employed directly by the operator on site around the clock.

Holiday System

Holiday System is an Italian camp operator based in Mori, in Trentino, running residential summer camps for children and teenagers in the mountains of Trentino-Alto Adige. Its camps take over whole hotels for the season — Hotel Polsa at Polsa di Brentonico, at 1,244 m in the Monte Baldo Nature Park, and the Villa Waiz and Villa Flora hotels in the park at Roncegno Terme — so the children live, eat and take their activities in the same place. The programmes range from outdoor survival and bushcraft to tennis and multi-sport, and to an English camp with native-speaker teachers. Each session has educators day and night and a doctor on site around the clock.
