The whole day is in English. Counsellors are native speakers or bilingual and use English for everything, from waking up to the evening gathering, and the camp rituals are built to make campers talk: an English name and a camp passport on arrival, a short participatory show every day, and a camp market where the vocabulary learned has to be used for real.

No level is required. The ten hours of lessons are given in groups of about fifteen campers of similar level, so beginners and confident speakers work separately, and the rest of the day is built so that everyone can join in whatever their starting point. The programme is also adapted to two age bands, eight to ten and eleven to fifteen.

Each camp is led by a director qualified with the French BAFD, working with a team of counsellors recruited in part abroad. All of them are native English speakers or bilingual, and there is one counsellor for every five campers.

Campers sleep at the Tour de Buis centre in rooms of four to eight beds, with showers and washrooms on the landing. All meals are taken at the centre and cooked on site from fresh produce.
The English lessons, the activities and entertainment on the programme, supervision for the whole stay and full-board accommodation at the centre. Travel from Paris, meals during the journey, personal spending, the insurance pack and the individual pre- and post-travel option are charged separately.
Campers arrive and go through Immigration: each one takes a new English name, receives a camp passport and passes through a mock customs desk. From that moment the stay is lived in English, and the day ends with welcome games that put the whole group together.
