Sol Camps Summer Camp in Toronto — Teens

Mornings are given to English tuition, which the operator lists among the items included in the programme. Four programme options are published for the Toronto camp: Adventure English, AI App Design, Business Leadership and Discover Challenge. At the end of the programme every camper receives a Graduation Certificate.

The residential (Overnight) programme runs Sunday to Sunday, 24/7. Included in the price: morning English tuition, accommodation and all meals, afternoon and evening activities, Friday, Saturday and Sunday excursions, lunch, health insurance and a two-way airport transfer. A 20% deposit secures a place; the balance is due before the season starts.

Campers live on campus at the University of Toronto, St. Michael’s College. The operator publishes single, double and triple room options, with shared washrooms and campers housed separately by gender. Residences have key-card entry, 24-hour staff support and common areas with TVs, games and Wi-Fi. Rooms are assigned by the camp with a mix of nationalities in mind; room-pairing requests are considered.

Full board on campus. Breakfast includes eggs, fresh fruit, waffles, cereals and yogurt; lunch and dinner are served buffet-style with a rotating menu — rice dishes, pasta, chicken, salads, fresh fruit, soups, pizza and burgers. Packed meals or food vouchers are provided on excursion days. With advance notice the catering team provides vegetarian, Halal, Kosher, gluten-free and other dietary options.

Afternoons and evenings are filled with sports, team challenges, creative activities, campus events and social experiences. Weekends bring larger excursions, including trips to Niagara Falls and other destinations around Toronto.

The programme is hosted on the St. Michael’s College campus of the University of Toronto at 81 St Mary St. Campers use campus residences with shared washrooms, common areas with TVs, games and Wi-Fi, and campus dining for all meals.

A day starts with breakfast on campus and morning assembly, continues with English lessons, afternoon activities around the city and evening events, and ends back at the residence. Campers come from more than 34 countries, and the operator aims to keep any single nationality to roughly 30% of the camp.
