Passion Ski takes children aged six to twelve to Chalet l Edelweiss in Saint-Francois-Longchamp, at 1 450 m and two hundred metres from the first lifts. Supervised ski sessions with ESF instructors sit at the centre of the week, with snow games, a snowshoe walk and evening entertainment around them.

About the Course
Four supervised ski sessions with instructors of the French national ski school (ESF), two hours a day in groups formed by level. Beginners learn the snowplough and their first turns; more confident skiers work on technique. The week ends with the star test, and outside the lessons the group keeps skiing with its leaders. Ski equipment and a helmet are provided.
What’s Included
The stay covers full board at the chalet, accommodation, the ESF ski sessions, ski equipment and helmet, the snowshoe outing with a mountain leader, the snow activities and evening programme, and the visit to the resort village. Travel from a departure city is an option priced separately; children can also be brought directly to the centre.
Accommodation
Chalet l Edelweiss stands at 1 450 m, two hundred metres from the first ski lifts. Rooms sleep two to six and have their own bathroom. Activity rooms and a dining room looking onto the snow-covered mountains complete the building, and a south-facing terrace opens onto the mountain setting.
Meal Plan
Meals are prepared on site by the centre cook, with regional dishes on the menu, and are served in the dining room with its panoramic view of the Etendard glacier.
Activities & Excursions
Beyond the slopes the week holds a snowshoe walk with a mountain leader and a trapper snack of grilled bananas and marshmallows by the fire, sledging and snow games around the centre, and a torchlight descent by the ESF instructors. Evenings bring big games, shows, themed nights, storytelling and a party.
Facilities
The centre has three classrooms, a multi-purpose room with a bar and dance floor, a screening room, a meeting room and a dining room with a panoramic view. Table football, table tennis, board games, a video projector and Wi-Fi are available in the shared areas, and a south-facing terrace runs along the outside. A city stade is two minutes away.
Camp Experience
A week in a ski resort for children of primary-school age, in a chalet at the foot of the pistes where the day runs from the slopes to the snow games and on into the evening programme. One adult supervises eight children, and the team includes a qualified camp director and a first-aid holder.
