About the Course
The Standard French Course offers 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week, taught Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between 8:45 AM and 12:50 PM at the school Le Chateau in Antibes. Classes have a maximum of 12 students and welcome every level of French, from complete beginner to advanced. The first Monday is dedicated to a placement test, and teachers use an active, communicative method to build grammar, vocabulary and speaking confidence.
What’s Included
The programme is all-inclusive: French classes, accommodation with full board, the daily leisure programme, weekly excursions, 24-hour supervision and weekend transfers from Nice Airport or Antibes Railway Station are all covered by the fee. Families only add international travel, insurance and pocket money.
Accommodation
Students live in a dedicated student residence in a peaceful part of Antibes/Juan-les-Pins, a short walk from the sandy beaches and the town centre. Rooms are shared by 2 to 4 students and each room has a private bathroom. Bed sheets are provided and changed weekly, rooms are cleaned weekly, and the residence has an on-site restaurant, a large outdoor terrace and an activity and event room. A single room upgrade and a VIP package are available for an extra fee; towels are not provided.
Meal Plan
Full board is included throughout the stay: breakfast and lunch are served at the school, dinner at the residence restaurant, and picnic lunches are provided at weekends. A gluten-free meal option is available for an extra charge.
Activities & Excursions
Each week combines one half-day cultural visit such as Cannes, Grasse or Eze Village, two half-days of activities such as tree climbing, laser tag, paintball, trampoline park or immersive virtual reality, and one full-day weekend excursion to destinations like Monaco, Nice or Cannes. The highlight is a full day in the Southern Alps with alpine skiing, snowshoe hiking or sledding and a traditional mountain lunch. Evening entertainment is organised at the residence.
Facilities
French classes take place at the school Le Chateau in small classrooms of up to 12 students. The residence offers shared social spaces, an activity and event room, an on-site restaurant for dinner and a large outdoor terrace, all 500 metres from the beaches.
Camp Experience
Camp staff supervise students 24/7 from arrival in France. Free time rules are adapted to age: 12-year-olds stay accompanied, 13 to 15-year-olds may have supervised free time until 7:30 PM, and parents of 16 to 17-year-olds choose between no evening permission or extended evening hours. Teens from all over the world share the residence, making it an international and safe environment to practise French.
