About

About the Course

The Youth Hospitality English Camp puts English at the centre of the week. Students improve their English while exploring hospitality through interactive activities, outdoor learning, games and experiences beyond the classroom, and practise the language all day in a multicultural residential community. Alongside classes and practical workshops, the programme includes industry visits, excursions and team activities. Applicants whose first language is not English provide a recognised English language certificate.

What’s Included

The school offers a special discount — ask us for details.

The programme fee covers the full residential experience: tuition, teaching materials and practical uniforms, accommodation on campus, full board including meals during excursions, and the activities programme (excursions, field trips, indoor and outdoor activities, a programme certificate and a farewell dinner). Minibus transport between the airport and the campus is included, as is transport to all planned excursions. Students need a valid passport and valid health insurance, and applicants whose first language is not English provide an English language certificate. Places are limited and the school advises applying early; after acceptance the school sends an acceptance letter, an invoice and a welcome guide.

Full board is included in the programme fee, including meals taken during excursions. A typical day starts with breakfast, breaks for lunch in the middle of the day and ends with dinner on campus; the programme also includes food and beverage experiences and a farewell dinner.

Activities & Excursions

Alongside classes and workshops, the week includes excursions and field trips, industry visits to leading hospitality businesses, team building, city and cultural tours, outdoor activities and leisure time. More about this camp

The Youth Hospitality English Camp is run by Les Roches, an international hospitality business school, on its Swiss campus in Bluche above the resort of Crans-Montana. It is a residential camp for students aged 15 to 17 who want to improve their English while discovering the world of hospitality. English is practised in interactive classes and practical workshops and then used all day: in games, outdoor learning, team activities, visits to leading hospitality businesses and conversation with students from many countries. Outside the programme there are excursions and field trips, cultural and city tours and outdoor activities in the Alps. Students live on campus in shared en-suite rooms with full board, and minibus transport from the airport and to all planned excursions is part of the package. Students choose a one-week or a two-week stay in Crans-Montana; the school also runs the same camps on its Marbella campus in Spain, and a two-week combination of the two. Applicants need a valid passport and health insurance, and an English language certificate if English is not their first language. Places are limited and the school advises applying early.
