About

About the Course

Language lessons run every morning in French, English or German. Groups are formed by level after a short placement test on arrival and hold no more than six participants, so everyone speaks. All levels are accepted, from complete beginner to near-native.

What’s Included

The package covers tuition, accommodation with full board, the art workshops, the excursion programme, evening activities and round-the-clock supervision. Flights and travel to the camp are not included; train and airport transfers are offered as paid extras.

Accommodation

Participants stay at a mountain hotel in the village, in multi-bed rooms with shared bathrooms as standard. Smaller rooms, private bathrooms, twin rooms and single rooms are available as paid upgrades.

Meal Plan

Full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Special diets such as gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan or halal can be arranged for a supplement.

Activities & Excursions

Art workshops run on three afternoons a week with a dedicated art teacher: painting and drawing, mosaic and ceramics, creative writing, and whatever else the group wants to try. Over the week the group also builds a joint art project, shown in an exhibition at the end. Excursions take place three times a week, and there is an activity every evening.

Facilities

The camp sits in a car-free mountain village in the canton of Glarus, reached by funicular. Accommodation, teaching rooms and the workshop space are all in the village, away from traffic and screens.

Camp Experience

A week that mixes language learning with making something you can be proud of, in a small group and a quiet alpine setting.
