Graine de Pilote – St-Cyran du Jambot

Five half-days of karting on a 1,000-metre circuit, supervised by a State-qualified instructor. Each session opens with a briefing on its objectives and exercises and closes with a debrief on racing lines, emergency braking and driving on dry or wet ground. Drivers are fully equipped with a full-face helmet, overalls and gloves, and take four timed ten-minute stints per session so progress can be followed. The week also includes water-park outings, large-scale games and evening activities at the château.

The camp price covers full-board accommodation, the activities and excursions on the programme, State-qualified instructors for the specialist activities, activity equipment, booking fees and repatriation assistance insurance including COVID cover. An accompanied journey from the departure cities listed in the operator's brochure and a cancellation insurance are offered as paid options.

Young people stay at the château de Saint-Cyran, set in a 15-hectare park, in eight-bed rooms with washrooms on each floor, in the renovated part of the boarding wing.

Meals are served self-service in the château's great hall or in the park. Packed lunches are provided on outing days.

The centre stands in a 15-hectare park and has numerous activity rooms and an all-sports gymnasium. Karting takes place on a 1,000-metre circuit.

The camp is run by a State-qualified team: a BAFD-qualified director, a health assistant and one BAFA-qualified leader for every eight to twelve young people. Specialist activities are led by instructors holding a French State diploma.
