A ski camp at the Chalet l'Alpestre in Notre-Dame-du-Pre, a small family resort in Savoie at about 1 250 metres, next to the Montalbert and La Plagne area. Teenagers aged 12 to 17 are placed in a group by level after a relaxed assessment, then ski five days across the different pistes of the La Plagne area, working from first confident descents up to more ambitious slalom lines with the camp leaders alongside. One lunch is taken at an altitude restaurant on the slopes, with a regional speciality and a panoramic view. Off the pistes the week adds outdoor skating on a rink in the middle of the village, team and solo sledging races on the snowfields around the centre, walks, big games, craft sessions and evening entertainment.

About the Course
Five days of skiing on the La Plagne area. A relaxed level assessment at the start places each teenager in the group that fits, and from there everyone progresses at their own pace: first confident descents for some, more ambitious slalom lines higher up for others. The camp leaders ski with the groups, advising and encouraging. One lunch is taken at an altitude restaurant on the pistes, with a regional speciality and a panoramic view.
What’s Included
The price covers accommodation at the Chalet l'Alpestre, full board cooked on site, the five days of skiing with the camp leaders, outdoor skating, the snow programme around the centre and the supervision team. Accompanied travel from a departure city is booked separately and is listed under extras; teenagers can also be brought directly to the centre.
Accommodation
The centre is a renovated chalet in a wooded park of three hectares. Rooms hold three to six beds with bathrooms close by; some have their own facilities. There is a ski store on site.
Meal Plan
Meals are home-made by the centre's cook and served in the chalet's large dining room, with regional dishes on the menu. Full board is included for the whole stay; one lunch during the ski days is taken at an altitude restaurant on the pistes.
Activities & Excursions
Away from the pistes the week adds outdoor skating on a four-hundred-square-metre rink in the middle of the village, sledging in teams or solo on the snowfields around the centre, walks, big games, craft sessions and evening entertainment. The animation team adapts the programme to the group and to the weather.
Facilities
The Chalet l'Alpestre sits in a wooded park of three hectares. It has a large dining room, five activity rooms, a meeting room with a library and games, a bar area, a ski store and wi-fi in the common areas.
Camp Experience
A residential stay for teenagers aged twelve to seventeen in a small family resort at about 1 250 metres, beside the Montalbert and La Plagne ski area. Supervision is one adult for every eight young people, including a qualified camp director and a leader holding a first-aid certificate. Arrival at the centre is in the late afternoon of the first day and departure in the morning of the last.

One lunch is taken at an altitude restaurant on the pistes. The rest of the programme — outdoor skating, sledging, walks, games and evening entertainment — is adapted to the group and the weather.
The camp focuses on building skiing confidence and technique through supervised daily practice on the slopes, with a relaxed, pace-appropriate approach for every level.
