friLingue's St Bernard Summer camp takes place in the provider's own chalet in Liddes, in the Val d'Entremont of the Valais Alps, Switzerland. It accepts children and teenagers aged 9 to 17. Programme and activities. Three languages are offered — French, English or German — taught in classes of just six students. Very small classes are the distinguishing feature: six per group is well below the norm for language camps and means far more individual attention. The high-alpine setting at the gateway to the Val d'Entremont shapes the outdoor programme. Accommodation. Students stay in friLingue's own chalet, in rooms of 4, 6 or 8 beds with full board; host-family accommodation is also possible. Owning the chalet gives the provider direct control over the setting. Families should confirm room size, as an 8-bed room is a very different experience from a 4-bed one, and ask what the host-family option involves if that interests them. Ages, dates and duration. The camp accepts a wide 9 to 17 range — notably including younger children than the provider's Schwarzsee English camp, which starts at 12. Five arrival dates run from mid-July into August.
