A summer football and language camp in the Swiss Alps for children and teenagers aged 10 to 15. Nine hours of football training a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, are combined with fifteen hours of language tuition in groups of an average of six students, at the friLingue chalet in the mountain village of Liddes in the Grand St. Bernard region of Valais. Courses are offered in English, German and French, with full board and the evening programme included.

About the Course
Fifteen hours of language tuition a week, taught as twenty lessons in groups of an average of six students, in English, German or French. A short placement test after arrival places each participant in a group at their own level, from complete beginner to near-native. Football training runs as three afternoon sessions of three hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
What’s Included
The price covers language tuition, football training, excursions, workshops and the evening programme, accommodation, full board, course material, the participation certificate and the registration fee. Flights are not included.
Accommodation
Participants stay in shared bedrooms of four, six or eight beds at the friLingue chalet Relais de Dranse, a large rustic chalet with a garden and a common room with billiards and table tennis, on the Dranse river below the pass road to the Aosta valley. Bathrooms and showers are shared.
Meal Plan
Full board with three meals a day prepared by the in-house kitchen team, plus fruit and snacks through the day.
Activities & Excursions
Nine hours of football training a week, excursions, workshops and an evening programme.
Facilities
The chalet has a garden and a common room with a billiard table and a table tennis table; football training takes place on the pitch at Liddes.

Recommended for most families
Smooth arrival and fewer surprises.
Staff meet the participant at Bern main station and travel to the camp together with other young people. The train ticket is included. A reduced rate applies to holders of a Swiss GA travelcard.
Sunday transfer between Geneva airport and the camp, arrivals between 10.00 and 16.00 and departures between 12.00 and 18.00. Arrivals outside these hours and private transfers from Geneva or Zurich are charged at higher rates quoted by the school.
