The programme is intended for young people who want a comfortable residential environment, small-group French teaching, and a varied winter activity experience shared with international peers. Morning French lessons prioritise interaction and confidence in small classes, while the wider programme gives students opportunities to use the language in social and practical contexts. About
About the Course
The French course follows an active teaching approach designed to stimulate young learners' desire to learn. Classes are held in the morning from Monday to Friday, with a maximum of 10 to 12 students per class to ensure personalized attention. The daily 3-hour session is divided into two parts: 2 hours of classical work developing four skills (listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written expression, and oral expression), with grammar, pronunciation, and French culture also covered in line with the CEFR recommendations, followed by 1 hour of speaking activities designed to encourage interaction and build confidence.
On the first day, students take a placement test to determine their language level, ranging from complete beginner to advanced. The standard course consists of 20 lessons of 45 minutes each, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. An intensive option is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays in classes of maximum 6 students for an additional fee. Teachers focus on creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages the development of speaking skills so that everyone can gain confidence.
