Summer Camp in Cannes is a French summer immersion camp for younger teenagers in the heart of Cannes on the French Riviera. The programme is based at Campus Carnot, within reach of the city’s beaches, shops, and famous coastal atmosphere. Cannes offers an exciting but manageable setting for international students who are ready to discover more independence while remaining within a closely supervised residential community. The camp combines language learning with social life, sport, seaside activities, and cultural exploration. French classes are taught in a friendly atmosphere and focus strongly on helping students communicate with confidence. Active lessons build reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, pronunciation, and cultural understanding, while role-play helps learners use French naturally. The activity programme can include beach outings, swimming, sailing, sport, adventure activities, excursions, and evening events on campus. Activity leaders are available around the clock and apply clear arrangements for curfews and parental permissions. This blend of structure, sociability, and guided independence helps teenagers develop both French skills and confidence away from home.

About
About the Course
The French course follows an active teaching methodology designed to stimulate the desire to learn in young students. Classes are held in the morning from Monday to Friday, with a maximum of 15 students per class to ensure personalized attention. The daily 3-hour session is divided into two parts: 2 hours of classical work developing four skills (listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written expression, and oral expression), with grammar, pronunciation, and French culture also covered, followed by 1 hour of oral activities designed to encourage interaction and build confidence.
On the first day, students take a placement test to determine their language level, ranging from complete beginner to advanced. The standard course consists of 20 lessons of 45 minutes each, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. An intensive option of 25 lessons per week is available for an additional fee, with classes from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., aimed at students wishing to make quick progress.
