About
About the Course
French as a foreign language for teenagers, fifteen hours a week in classes of no more than fifteen students. The approach is communicative and action-oriented: the lessons build on interaction inside the class group and on intercultural exchange, and they combine the structure of the language with French culture. Every teacher is a graduate in teaching French as a foreign language. The centre runs the same stay with English lessons in place of French.
What’s Included
The stay price covers the course, campus accommodation, full board, the activity and excursion programme, supervision and the transfers from Nice airport and Monaco train station. Stays run from arrival on a Sunday to departure on a Saturday, and the school publishes a separate price for each length of stay rather than a weekly rate. Which lengths can be booked depends on the arrival date: the earliest and the last arrivals sell a single week, the middle of the season sells two weeks and longer.
Accommodation
Students live on the centre's own closed campus in rooms for three to four students. The campus has a self-service cafeteria and a laundry service, which the school offers to students staying two weeks or more. Supervisors are on site around the clock and professional night surveillance covers the dormitories.
Meal Plan
Full board is part of the stay and is served in the campus self-service cafeteria.
Activities & Excursions
Afternoons and evenings are sports and cultural activities, with a weekly excursion on Saturday. Afternoon and evening activities are optional by design, so that students keep some independence, while the team encourages them to join as much as they can. Activity staff handle the transfers and run the evening programme.
Facilities
A closed campus at Cap d'Ail on the Côte d'Azur, between Monaco and Nice, with classrooms, student accommodation, a self-service cafeteria and a laundry service. The stay is authorised by the French Youth and Sports Ministry.
Camp Experience
An international group of teenagers lives together on one campus on the French Riviera: French in the morning, sport, culture and the sea in the afternoon, evening entertainment, and a supervisor-to-student ratio the school sets tighter than the French national standard. Smoking is forbidden on the campus, and older students may go out only in groups.
