Zigotours runs this eight-day city camp in Tokyo for teenagers aged 15 to 17. The group flies from Paris on scheduled flights with a stopover, stays in a youth hostel with shared kitchen and common room, and travels around the capital on metro and train passes. Days follow the itinerary published by the operator: the Senso-ji temple in Asakusa, the manga and gaming district of Akihabara, the youth districts of Shibuya and Harajuku, the futuristic bay island of Odaiba, Ueno park with the Ameyoko market, a traditional onsen and the panoramic observatory in Shinjuku. Groups run from twelve to twenty-four participants, with a director and qualified youth leaders and one adult for every eight young people. Breakfasts are taken at the hostel, lunches are picnics and dinners are eaten in snack bars or small restaurants. The camp is offered in the winter holiday periods.

About
About the Course
The programme is a supervised city discovery trip, not a course: there are no lessons and no entry level is required. The group follows the itinerary published by the operator across Tokyo, moving between districts on metro and train passes, with a director and qualified youth leaders travelling with them throughout.
What’s Included
The fee covers return scheduled flights from Paris with a stopover, full board, accommodation, all local travel, the supervision team, the listed activities and repatriation and personal accident insurance. Departures from other French cities can be arranged by the operator for an additional charge that depends on the city. Passport, exit authorisation, a signed health record and parental consent for activities are required before departure.
Accommodation
The group sleeps in a youth hostel in dormitories of four to eight beds. Showers and toilets are shared and located outside the rooms, and there is a shared kitchen and a common room. The hostel is a five-minute walk from the railway and metro station, with a supermarket nearby.
Meal Plan
Full board is included. Breakfasts are taken at the hostel, lunches are picnics eaten during the day's visits, and dinners are eaten in snack bars or small restaurants around the city.
Activities & Excursions
Visits include the Senso-ji temple and the historic Asakusa district, Akihabara with its manga, gaming and technology shops, the youth districts of Shibuya and Harajuku, the artificial bay island of Odaiba with its museums and viewpoints, Ueno park and the Ameyoko market, a traditional Japanese onsen, and the panoramic observatory at the Shinjuku city hall.
Facilities
Accommodation is in a youth hostel with a shared kitchen and a common room; showers and sanitary facilities are shared. The programme has no campus of its own — the city itself and its public transport network are the setting for the week.
Camp Experience
Group size runs from twelve to twenty-four participants aged 15 to 17, supervised by a director and qualified youth leaders at a ratio of one adult for every eight young people. A first-aid kit is carried by a member of staff acting as health assistant, and a doctor is consulted at the slightest doubt. The camp runs during the winter and spring holiday periods.
