A seven-day city trip to Budapest built around escape games, riddles and team challenges. The city is treated as the playing board: groups compete in the escape rooms Budapest is known for, take on the castle labyrinth as a full-scale escape challenge, and use a citygame to meet the people who live there. Between puzzles the group unwinds in the Szechenyi thermal baths, skates on the largest natural ice rink in Europe, visits the colourful village of Szentendre, and closes with a cruise on the Danube and a quiet stop on Margaret Island.

About

About the Course

The trip is built as a series of challenges rather than a sightseeing list. Groups compete in the escape rooms the city is known for, work through riddles in teams, and finish with the castle labyrinth as a full-scale escape challenge. A citygame sends the group out to meet people in the streets of Budapest, so that the puzzles double as a way into the city rather than a distraction from it.

What’s Included

The price covers transport from Paris, full board, full supervision by the operator's team, repatriation and personal accident insurance, accommodation, local transfers, the activities listed for the trip, and educational and administrative follow-up before and after the stay. It does not cover personal spending, visa fees unless stated, vaccinations and other administrative formalities, activities not listed, optional extras, cancellation insurance, the operator's fare-guarantee option, or departure from a city other than the one included. A special discount is offered — ask us for details.

Accommodation

The group stays at the Maverick City Lodge in Erzsebetvaros, the lively seventh district, about 750 metres from Deak Ferenc ter where the M1, M2 and M3 metro lines meet, and ten minutes by public transport from Keleti station. The lodge sits among the district's bars and restaurants and a short walk from the Great Synagogue. Accommodation is in single-sex dormitories of three to six beds. Bathrooms and showers are shared and sit outside the rooms. There is an equipped communal kitchen and a large common room with a rest area, and breakfast is served at the lodge.

Meal Plan

Full board is included for the whole stay, with breakfast served at the lodge.

Activities & Excursions

Escape rooms and team riddles run through the week, alongside the castle labyrinth, a citygame in the streets of Budapest, skating on the largest natural ice rink in Europe, the Szechenyi thermal baths, the village of Szentendre, a cruise on the Danube and a stop on Margaret Island.

Facilities

The stay is based in central Budapest, in the seventh district, within walking distance of the Great Synagogue and close to the main metro interchange. The lodge provides a communal kitchen, a large common room with a rest area, and shared bathrooms.

Camp Experience

This is a city trip for teenagers who would rather solve a place than be shown it. The week alternates competition and recovery on purpose: a hard session in the escape rooms is followed by the thermal baths, a skating afternoon prepares the group for the labyrinth. By the end the group knows Budapest the way you know a city you have had to navigate under pressure, and the closing cruise on the Danube is there to look back at it from the water.
