VIS Winter Camp in Verbier - Boarding

A week on the mountain: daily skiing or snowboarding with qualified Swiss instructors from the ESS ski school, groups matched to each camper's level, and après-snow activities in the evenings. The activities listed are those of a typical week and the final programme may change according to conditions.

The fee covers full board and accommodation, a ski pass for the 4 Vallées, skiing or snowboarding lessons with ESS instructors, cultural excursions, laundry facilities, 24/7 supervision by school staff and Geneva transfers on the official arrival and departure dates and times. A non-refundable registration fee is charged separately, and optional extras — a photo pack, pocket money and private lessons — can be added on the enrolment form.

Boarders stay at Chalet de Flore in the heart of Verbier, the school's boarding house for campers aged 10 to 17, with comfortable en-suite rooms and round-the-clock supervision. Most rooms are double with an en-suite bathroom; there are also a few single and triple rooms.

Full board is included in the camp fee and served at the camp, with meals provided on ski and excursion days.

Daily skiing or snowboarding with expert instruction on the 4 Vallées, more than 400 km of slopes. Off the slopes: ice-skating, a climbing wall, escape room challenges, quiz nights, a torchlight descent, gala night celebrations and other après-snow activities, plus a cultural excursion that takes campers beyond the mountains.

The camp runs from the campus of Verbier International School with the Chalet de Flore boarding house in the village, a health centre with a nurse on duty around the clock and laundry facilities for campers. Verbier sits at the heart of the 4 Vallées, Switzerland's largest ski area.

Some winter camps put two to three hundred children on the mountain at once; we host 35 to 40. That means smaller ski groups matched to each child's level, instructors who know them, and room in the day for more than queue, ski, repeat.
