About

About the Course

The diving course is taught by qualified dive instructors at the dive base that stands on the camp grounds, in cooperation with Roger Tours. Learning begins digitally before the trip, continues as theory lessons held outdoors and is practised in the lake itself, with diving equipment provided. Participants are introduced to the sport step by step and work towards the Open Water Diver certificate, which is part of the package; the certificate is available digitally in the operator app.

What’s Included

The school offers a special discount — ask us for details. The package covers six travel days with five nights on full board — breakfast with juice, milk and cocoa, lunch and dinner — accommodation in multi-bed rooms, water and tea throughout the day, round-the-clock supervision and the leisure programme, the diving course with equipment, qualified dive instructors, the digital learning material and the diving certificate. The camp is run together with Roger Tours. The trip is generally not suitable for people with restricted mobility.

Accommodation

Lake Stechlin lies one minute from the accommodation. Participants sleep in multi-bed rooms, clean, simply and child-appropriately furnished, with showers and toilets centrally placed along the corridor and separated by gender. The grounds hold the dive base, a barbecue area and a large open space for sport, and a common room is available for group games when the weather does not cooperate. The lake bathing beach is a few steps away. Towels, swimwear and bathing shoes are brought by the participants.

Meal Plan

The camp puts weight on balanced and tasty catering. Participants help the camp leaders and the other children prepare and cook the meals themselves, and there is breakfast, lunch and dinner. Water and tea are available all day. A small kiosk at the dive base sells sweets and snacks in between.

Activities & Excursions

Besides the diving itself the programme may include exploring the underwater world of Lake Stechlin, practical diving hours in the lake and theory lessons outdoors, beach soccer and beach volleyball, barbecues in the evening and a campfire with damper bread, a night walk and nature exploration, a visit to the fisherman, swimming in the lake and group games.

Facilities

The camp is based on its own grounds at Lake Stechlin in Brandenburg, with the dive base on site. There is a barbecue area, a large open space for sporting activities, a common room for group games and a bathing beach a few steps away. A small kiosk at the dive base sells snacks.

Camp Experience

Lake Stechlin lies a minute from the accommodation and serves as the classroom: theory under the open sky, then dives in the lake with an instructor. Between the dives the group lives an ordinary camp life of beach sport, barbecues, campfires with damper bread and night walks, supervised around the clock by the camp team. The trip is generally not suitable for people with restricted mobility.
