The course is for students aged 16 and over and is open to all levels, from beginner A1 to experienced C2. Students take an online level test before arrival.
The programme combines 20 group lessons with 4 private one-to-one lessons per week, each lesson lasting 45 minutes. Group classes run in the morning from 09:00 to 12:15, with private lessons scheduled alongside; the timetable may change in high season.
Group classes have 5 to 8 students, with a maximum of 10. The private lessons are one-to-one.
The group course builds the four CEFR competences and revises grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation using authentic documents. The private lessons provide personalised follow-up, allow questions to be answered, and can focus on specific topics such as hospitality, gastronomy or exam preparation.
ILA offers carefully selected host families for full immersion in French daily life, comfortable student residences where students meet people from around the world, and an aparthotel option for independent accommodation.
