More about this camp

This French summer camp is held in Annecy, in the Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps, for teenagers aged 12 to 15. Programme and activities. The camp is a French immersion programme set in one of the Alps' most scenic lakeside towns. Annecy's lake and mountain surroundings shape the activity side, and the town's setting is a genuine part of the appeal. Accommodation. Students stay at the ISETA Student Residence, described as modern and secure, in a quiet residential area. Dormitory-style accommodation keeps the group together on one site. Families should confirm room sizes and supervision arrangements, particularly as the camp is aimed at a younger teenage group. Ages, dates and duration. The camp accepts teenagers aged 12 to 15 — a narrow, genuinely younger-teen band, so a 12-year-old is not sharing with 17-year-olds. One session is currently listed, beginning in early July; families should confirm whether other dates are available. Location and travel. Annecy is in the Haute-Savoie, near the Swiss border. Geneva is the nearest airport, around forty-five minutes away, with Lyon a further option. Transfer arrangements are not published. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit families wanting French immersion for a younger teenager in a spectacular alpine lakeside setting, in a contained residence rather than a homestay. The narrow 12-to-15 band suits parents who want their child among peers of a similar age. Families with an older teenager, or those wanting a city rather than a mountain town, should compare the provider's Montpellier and Toulouse camps.
