About

About the Course

Junior tennis weeks at Mouratoglou Academy in Biot, on the French Riviera, open to players aged 9 to 17 of every level. The full-day week runs Monday to Saturday morning: a technical theme each morning - forehand, backhand, baseline play, approach shots or net play - in groups of a maximum of four players per court, formed by level and age, with physical training alongside. Afternoons are given to match situations, then an hour of tactics, mental training, recovery or yoga. Morning-only and tennis-and-golf formats are run for juniors as well.

What’s Included

The camp week covers tennis coaching, physical training, the tactical and mental hour, lunch, a welcome pack and a welcome ceremony, and closes with a personalised Game Report for every participant. Boarding accommodation and full board are added at booking rather than included in the camp week; transfers from the airport or the train station, individual coaching, recovery and language classes are available as options.

Accommodation

Boarding accommodation sits in the heart of the campus and takes players aged 9 to 17, with staff on site around the clock and video surveillance. It has 76 rooms for two to four children, each with its own toilet and bathroom, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Arrival is on Sunday and departure on Saturday morning. A player travelling with an adult can instead stay at the academy's four-star hotel and resort or at the residence on site.

Meal Plan

Lunch is part of the camp week and is served as a balanced, varied sports buffet at the academy cafeteria. Full board, covering the remaining meals for boarding players aged 9 to 17, is available as an option.

Activities & Excursions

Tennis is the centre of the week: a technical theme every morning in small level-based groups, match situations through the afternoon, and a closing hour that rotates between tactics, mental training, recovery and yoga. Physical training runs an hour and a half a day and extends the work done on court - moving better, positioning better, holding up through the rally. A welcome ceremony opens every week; in summer the week closes with a ceremony and, on the weekend, a UTR tournament event is offered as an option.

Facilities

The academy campus holds the tennis courts, the fitness and conditioning areas, a sports medical centre and a wellness area. Players eat in the cafeteria and share a study room, a media library, a games room, a TV room and a cinema. The campus has Wi-Fi throughout and a country club on site.

Camp Experience

Every week is built on the Mouratoglou Methodology: start from the player's own level, find what holds the game back, and strengthen what already works. At the end of the week each player receives a Game Report - their reference points on serve, return, baseline, net and transition play, how they behave on court at key moments, physical test results benchmarked against their age category, and the priorities to work on next. From one camp to the next the report makes progress comparable. The campus is cosmopolitan, with players of many nationalities training side by side.

Frequently Asked Questions

The junior performance week welcomes players aged 9 to 17 of all levels, from beginners to experienced players. Groups of up to four players per court are formed by level and age. The morning-only junior format starts from age 6.

The Performance Camp covers the full day for ages 9 to 17: three hours of tennis (four in summer), an hour and a half of physical training, match situations in the afternoon and an hour of tactics, mental training, recovery or yoga, with lunch included. The Player Camp, from age 6, runs in the morning and leaves the afternoon free.

The Game Report is the personalised assessment each player receives at the end of the week. It gathers the coaches' observations - reference points on serve, return, baseline, net and transition play, on-court behaviour at key moments, physical test results benchmarked against the age category, and the priorities to work on next. It comes with every Mouratoglou junior camp, and from one camp to the next it makes progress comparable.

The boarding school is in the heart of the campus and has 76 rooms for two to four children, each with its own toilet and bathroom, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. More about this camp

Mouratoglou Academy is a tennis campus in Biot, above Antibes on the French Riviera, and its junior camps run weekly through the year. The full-day week is built around a technical theme each morning - forehand, backhand, baseline play, approach shots or net play - worked in a group of no more than four players per court with an academy coach, with physical training alongside it. The afternoon moves to match situations, where decision-making, attitude, confidence and playing style are put to the test, and the day closes with an hour of tactics, mental training, recovery or yoga. Lunch is a balanced buffet at the academy cafeteria and is part of the week. The junior programme is not one camp but several. The full-day performance week takes ages 9 to 17. A morning-only week, with the afternoon free, starts from age 6. There is a tennis-and-golf week for ages 9 to 17, a two-week competition week built around tournaments, and, in summer, formats that pair tennis with French or English lessons. All of them are open to beginners as well as experienced players. Players who stay on site sleep in the campus boarding school, which has 76 rooms for two to four children, each with its own bathroom, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, with staff present around the clock and video surveillance. Arrival is on Sunday and departure on Saturday morning. Boarding and full board are arranged at the time of booking rather than being part of the camp week. A player travelling with an adult can stay instead at the academy's four-star hotel and resort or at the residence. Around the courts the campus holds a sports medical centre, fitness and conditioning areas, a cafeteria, a study room, a media library, a games room, a TV room and a cinema. Every junior camp ends with a Game Report: a written assessment of the player's serve, return, baseline, net and transition play, their behaviour on court at key moments, their physical test results benchmarked against their age category, and the priorities to work on next. Because the report follows the same structure from one camp to the next, progress can be compared over time. The campus is deliberately international, with players of many nationalities training side by side.
