The course is for students aged 16 and over and is open to all levels, from beginner A1 to advanced C2. Students take an online level test before arrival.
The programme combines 20 group lessons with 8 additional lessons per week, each lasting 45 minutes. The additional lessons focus specifically on developing oral skills — oral comprehension and expression — alongside grammar, vocabulary, phonetics and French culture.
Groups are small, with 5 to 8 students and a maximum of 10.
Classes run from 09:00 to 12:15, plus three afternoons from 13:15 to 15:30. The timetable may change in high season.
The course emphasises communication through role plays, presentations and debates, using authentic documents such as press articles, film excerpts and videos. The aim is to build oral expression, consolidate grammar and vocabulary, and deepen pronunciation and knowledge of French culture.
ILA offers carefully selected host families (real immersion in French daily life), comfortable student residences (meeting people from around the world), and an aparthotel option for independent accommodation.
