The Outward Bound Trust

The Outward Bound Trust is a UK educational charity running residential outdoor adventure courses for young people at wild, remote centres in Wales, the Lake District and the Scottish Highlands. Its Summer Adventures run at four levels — Basecamp, Ridge, Summit and Pinnacle — matched to age streams from 10 to 22, and combine activities such as hiking, climbing and water-based journeys with nights at the centre and on expedition. Funding support of up to 60–75% is available for eligible families.
