About

About the Course

The programme offers three options to suit different needs and interests. The English + Sport option includes 15 hours of English tuition per week and 15 hours of specialist sport coaching per week. The Sport Only option with two sports provides 15 hours per week of one sport and 15 hours per week of another sport. The One Sport Only option, available for Football, includes 30 hours of intensive sport coaching per week. The English programme follows a project-based approach with two pathways: the English Foundation Pathway for levels A1 to C1 focuses on building functional English, practical grammar, and everyday communication through group projects and real-life language use. The Step-Up English Pathway for levels B2 to C2 develops skills for real-world academic, professional, and leadership settings through seminars, presentations, and debates. Lessons use authentic, up-to-date materials rather than textbooks. On arrival, students are placed into the appropriate pathway based on their level, maturity, and speaking confidence, and can move between pathways if ready. All courses are taught by qualified and experienced professionals.

Rugby + Another Sport

30 Lessons · 9–16 yrs · B1–C2

2026 price

The Rugby + Another Sport programme is designed for boys who want to focus entirely on their athletic development without classroom-based English lessons. The main goal is to provide intensive training in rugby and a second sport of the student's choice, allowing students to develop individual skills, confidence, and overall game knowledge while establishing a strong sense of team spirit. The unique approach combines 15 hours of rugby coaching with 15 hours of coaching in another sport per week, offering a diverse and comprehensive experience. This programme is ideal for students with a strong passion for sport who already have a good level of English, as English is learned naturally through immersion.

Students receive 30 hours of sports training per week, split equally between rugby and a second sport of their choice. Each sport is delivered for 15 hours per week, with 3 hours of training per day for each activity. The rugby programme is led by passionate and experienced coaches and covers both physical skills and mental aspects of the game, including handling and kicking, creating and attacking space, speed of attack, game awareness, and strategy, as well as leadership, teamwork and communication. Every player is given the chance to lead and take control of training, and then apply what they have learnt to actual game situations. All participants must have at least one year of rugby experience. The second sport is taught by professional coaches and qualified instructors, ensuring expert guidance, personal attention, and a fun, challenging experience. Students are assessed upon arrival and placed into training groups based on their age and ability level. Additional workshops on topics such as match preparation, psychology, injury prevention, and sports nutrition are included, providing deeper insight into the life of a professional athlete.

The course is focused on developing rugby skills, tactical understanding, and leadership qualities alongside a second sport through professional coaching.
