The Oxford Experience is held at Keble College, University of Oxford — one of Oxford’s most spacious venues, close to the Natural History and Pitt Rivers museums and a short walk from Broad Street and Little Clarendon Street. Classes are designed to use Oxford as a teaching tool.
Students in grades 8–9 choose a Major and a Minor from options including AI, Business & Entrepreneurship, Communication and Media Studies, Creative Writing, Criminology, Engineering, Genetics and Biotechnology, History, International Relations, Law, Medicine, Politics/Philosophy/Economics, Psychology, Sports Business, plus minors in Photography, Skills for Success, and Speech and Debate.
Breakfast in Hall, then Major classes in classrooms, labs, studios, or around Oxford. Students arrange their own lunch locally. Three afternoons a week are for Minor classes; otherwise students can join organized activities, trips, and tours in and around Oxford. Dinner in Hall is followed by evening activities, events, or shows.
Fees include airport transport, accommodation, breakfast and supper, all scheduled extra-curricular activities, and all course supplies. Classroom instruction, workshops, field trips, two daily meals, and program-organized activities are covered. A select number of need-based scholarships are available.
Students live in undergraduate rooms at Keble College, housed in single en-suite rooms. Breakfast and dinner are served on campus: continental breakfast and dinner with several options including a vegetarian dish and salad bar. Special dinners are held regularly, ending with a formal banquet. Lunch is the student’s responsibility and can be bought locally.
Shortly after the program, students and parents receive comprehensive grade reports presenting the course syllabus and highlighting the student’s specific contributions and achievements in their course(s).
