More about this camp

The Stafford House Cambridge CSVPA Creative Summer Camp runs at the Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts (CSVPA), in Cambridge, England. It accepts students aged 14 to 18. Programme and activities. This is a creative-arts camp rather than a general English or activity programme: strands cover art, design, fashion, film, music and performance. It suits an older teenager with a genuine creative interest who wants to develop it intensively. Families should read what each strand covers and confirm the level expected. Accommodation. Students stay in modern, comfortable residential accommodation close to the city centre, grouped by age. Families should confirm room configurations and what supervision applies. Ages, dates and duration. The camp accepts students aged 14 to 18. The upper limit reaches past school-leaving age, so families should ask how age groups are separated for teaching and accommodation. A very large number of arrival dates is listed from late June — one of the widest calendars in this catalogue. Location and travel. Cambridge is around an hour north of London by train, with Stansted the nearest airport. Transfer arrangements are not published. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit older teenagers, 14 to 18, with a serious creative interest — art, design, fashion, film, music or performance — who want a specialist arts programme rather than general English. The wide calendar adds flexibility. Families wanting a general English camp in Cambridge should look at the provider's CATS Cambridge camp instead. Given the intake runs to 18, families of a younger teenager should confirm grouping and supervision.
