More about this camp

The Stafford House Bournemouth Summer Camp runs at Bournemouth Collegiate School, a historic boarding school on England's south coast, five minutes from the beaches. It accepts students aged 8 to 17. Programme and activities. The camp combines English lessons with excursions and daily activities, using the school's facilities and the seaside setting. Bournemouth's beaches shape the activity side. Accommodation. Students stay in full-board residential accommodation, offered in two options — a standard option on campus and an alternative. The school's own boarding infrastructure is used. Families should confirm which option they are booking and the room configurations. Ages, dates and duration. The camp accepts students aged 8 to 17 — reaching younger than many, so it works for a primary-age child. Ten arrival dates are listed from early July, giving strong flexibility. Families of the youngest children should ask how age groups are separated. Location and travel. Bournemouth is on the Dorset coast, well connected by rail to London and with its own airport. Transfer arrangements are not published. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit families wanting a historic seaside boarding-school setting for a child aged 8 to 17, including younger children, with the beach close by. Stafford House runs a large network of summer centres in this catalogue across the UK, USA and Malaysia, so families should compare on location. Parents of the youngest children should confirm the age-grouping arrangements.
