The Classic Course at St Edmund's is designed for international students aged 10 to 17 who are looking for a residential English summer course. It offers the ideal mix of high-quality English lessons, a lively activity programme, and the chance to explore iconic UK destinations through guided excursions, creating a structured and genuinely fun experience.
Students receive 15 hours of English teaching per week delivered by qualified, committed teachers. Lessons are communicative and practical, with project work that helps learners use English creatively while discovering more about British culture and everyday life. Teaching follows an interactive methodology with a focus on speaking and listening activities, helping students improve their fluency and build confidence in speaking English. Class sizes are small, with a maximum of 15 students per class. Students take a placement test on arrival and are placed in classes according to their level, ranging from Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1/C2).
