About

About the Course

Ski and snowboard instruction for beginners with experienced instructors, included in the package. The Brunnalm area above the valley runs from 1,400 to 2,520 m and holds 24 km of wide, sunny, easy to intermediate pistes — ground that suits a first week on snow — along with a timed Wisbi run and a fun park for riders who already ride. The operator does not publish a number of lessons or hours of instruction.

What’s Included

The package covers six nights in multi-bed rooms at the Jugendpension Auenschmied, full board (breakfast buffet, self-prepared packed lunches and a hot evening meal), return travel by modern coach with one overnight leg on the way home, a free ski bus and a briefing on the ski area, the ski and snowboard beginners course, a karaoke party, supervision and experienced tour management, a snow guarantee and insolvency insurance. Travel to the departure point is not included; arriving independently is possible.

Accommodation

The Jugendpension Auenschmied: simple, comfortable multi-bed rooms with the washrooms placed centrally on each floor. The large dining and common room is where the group eats and spends the evening. The ski bus stop is directly outside the door, a few minutes from the Brunnalm ski area.

Meal Plan

Full board: a breakfast buffet, packed lunches the participants make up themselves and a hot evening meal. Vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, fructose-free and pork-free catering is possible and should be stated when booking. The operator states that this trip is not suitable for participants with a peanut allergy or on a protein-free diet.

Activities & Excursions

Skiing and snowboarding in the Brunnalm area, with a timed Wisbi run and a fun park for sliding. Back at the guest house the common room has table tennis, table football, small tournaments and games evenings, and there is a ski disco or karaoke party as well as a leisure and animation programme — all of these are included. Further excursions and extras can be booked locally; the operator publishes their description about four weeks before departure.

Facilities

A large dining and common room with table tennis and table football, washrooms centrally placed on each floor, and the ski bus stop directly outside the front door.

Camp Experience

An Easter week on snow in the Defereggen valley, inside the Hohe Tauern National Park, with more than fifty three-thousand-metre peaks around the slopes. Trained supervisors are on hand around the clock at a ratio of one to ten and each participant has a named contact person. The operator states that this trip is not suitable for participants with reduced mobility.
