A short-term boarding place at Luckley House School in Wokingham, Berkshire, for international pupils entering Years 9, 10 and the Sixth Form. Pupils live in school as boarders and follow the normal Luckley timetable alongside British and international classmates: Years 9 and 10 take the core curriculum plus four elective subjects, while Sixth Form pupils choose three A Level subjects. Weekly EAL lessons support everyday and academic English. The package is fully inclusive and covers accommodation and lessons, boarding trips, the loan of a Microsoft Surface device, school uniform, all food, a laundry service and transport to and from the airport. Boarders share a modern bedroom with at least one other pupil, and the school aims not to place pupils of the same nationality together so that English is used throughout the day. The wider boarding programme includes sports fixtures and clubs, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Combined Cadet Force, martial arts, music and drama, art, crafts and textiles, cooking, science and board games. The campus sits in wooded Berkshire countryside about forty minutes from London.

About
About the Course
Pupils join the normal Luckley House timetable rather than a separate programme for visitors. Years 9 and 10 study the core curriculum together with four elective subjects; Sixth Form pupils choose three A Level subjects. Lessons are taken alongside British and international classmates, and EAL lessons of two hours a week run in addition to the timetable, covering conversational and academic English for pupils who need them. Places are offered into Years 9, 10 and 12 and depend on the pupil's academic level and age group as well as boarding availability.
What’s Included
The fee is fully inclusive and is charged by the term. It covers accommodation and lessons, boarding trips, the loan of a Microsoft Surface device, school uniform, all food, a laundry service, EAL lessons and transport to and from the airport. A registration fee and an acceptance deposit are charged separately and are listed under extras. Admission requires a school report and reference, copies of the passport and birth certificate, a CAT4 assessment and an online interview.
Accommodation
Boarders live in the Main House or in rooms above the Sixth Form Centre and share a modern bedroom with at least one other boarder, which they are encouraged to personalise. Where it is possible the school does not place pupils of the same nationality in the same room, so that English is spoken through the day as well as in lessons. Boarding is mixed, and the school also runs full, weekly and flexi boarding for its other pupils, so the houses are busy rather than occupied only by short-stay visitors.
Meal Plan
All food is included in the fee and is taken in school with the rest of the boarding community.
Activities & Excursions
Boarders take part in the school's extra-curricular programme on the same footing as everyone else: sports fixtures and clubs, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Combined Cadet Force, martial arts, music and drama, art, crafts and textiles, cooking, science and board games. Boarding trips out of school are part of the package, and weekends bring cultural outings alongside the clubs.
Facilities
The school occupies a wooded campus in the Berkshire countryside at Wokingham, with its own boarding accommodation in the Main House and above the Sixth Form Centre, teaching buildings and sports grounds. London is about forty minutes away, and airport transport at the start and end of the stay is included.
Camp Experience
This is a British boarding school term lived as a pupil of the school rather than a holiday course: the same lessons, the same houses, the same clubs and fixtures as the pupils who are there all year. For a family the appeal is the ordinary school day in English — a form group, elective subjects or A Levels, meals and evenings in a boarding house, and EAL support in the background for as long as it is needed.
