For English Plus and English for the Future, levels range from A2 (Pre‑Intermediate) to C2 (Proficiency); Business Leadership requires a minimum of B2 and goes up to C2. The syllabus places strong emphasis on developing all four language skills, with particular focus on fluency, grammatical accuracy, and building confidence in spoken and written English.

Optional extras include Academic, Creative and Sports and Adventure Academies as well as Cambridge exam preparation courses (B1, B2, C1) – these are available at an additional cost.

Accommodation

Students stay in separate boys’ and girls’ boarding houses on the Lancing campus. Most bedrooms are single or twin rooms with shared bathroom facilities, though a few larger rooms are also available. Each house has its own communal lounge area where students can relax and socialise. The residential environment is supervised 24/7 by dedicated house parents and welfare staff, ensuring a safe, comfortable and supportive home away from home.

Meal Plan

Full board is provided, covering breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Meals are served in the spectacular college dining hall, offering a varied and balanced menu. Special dietary requirements – including vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten‑free and other allergies – can be catered for upon prior notification during the booking process. Snacks and refreshments are also available throughout the day.

Activities & Excursions

The activity programme is varied and age‑appropriate, with something for everyone. Afternoon sessions include a wide range of sports (football, tennis, swimming, netball, rounders, etc.) and creative workshops (cooking, drama, art, fashion design, dance). Evenings feature social events such as discos, karaoke, talent shows, quizzes, scavenger hunts and themed parties. Excursions run three times a week: half‑day visits on Wednesdays to local attractions like Arundel Castle, Brighton Sea Life or Leeds Castle, and full‑day trips on Saturdays and Sundays to London landmarks (London Eye, Tower of London, British Museum) or destinations like Canterbury, Dover Castle, Greenwich and Thorpe Park. All activities are designed to promote language practice, cultural immersion, teamwork and lasting friendships.
