Kroatische Adria - Hotel Marin***: supervised beach holiday in Pakostane

A holiday programme rather than a taught course: there are no lessons. The operator runs a daily activity and animation schedule that includes beach games and sports tournaments, a smartphone photography workshop and DIY craft sessions, with evening animation and a karaoke night. Group leaders travel with the participants and stay on site throughout.

The package covers the return coach journey, nights in the operator’s own three-star Hotel Marin in Pakostane, half board, free soft drinks at the Jugendtours bar through the afternoon, the full activity and animation programme, free hire of snorkelling equipment, beach activities and sports tournaments, free use of the sports courts, and the evening animation and karaoke programme. Travel supervision and insolvency insurance are included. Both the outward and return legs are overnight coach journeys.

The group stays in Hotel Marin, the operator’s own three-star hotel in Pakostane. Rooms are four- and six-bed with shower and WC and air conditioning, and most have a balcony facing the sea. There is free WiFi in the hotel lobby. A double room can be booked instead for a small supplement; the operator does not publish the amount.

Half board is included: a generous breakfast buffet served late into the morning, and a buffet dinner in the evening. Soft drinks are free at the Jugendtours bar through the middle of the day and the afternoon. Lunch is not part of the package, which leaves the middle of the day free for the beach and the promenade.

Swimming and snorkelling on the Adriatic, with snorkelling equipment lent out at no charge. Beach days with games and team events, sports tournaments and free use of the sports courts. A smartphone photography workshop and DIY craft sessions run alongside, and the evenings bring animation and a karaoke night. Further excursions and extras can be booked once on site; the operator publishes the full list to booked participants about four weeks before departure.

The hotel has a lobby with free WiFi and the Jugendtours bar, where soft drinks are free through the afternoon. Sports courts are available to participants at no extra cost, and snorkelling and beach equipment is lent out free of charge.

Pakostane sits on the Dalmatian coast with a beach promenade and shops within walking distance of the hotel. Days are open: swimming, snorkelling, beach sport, or simply the promenade. Evenings are organised by the operator’s team, who are on site for the whole trip. The operator notes that this trip is not suitable for participants with reduced mobility.
