Kroatische Adria - Hotel Hygge***: supervised beach holiday in Biograd

A holiday programme rather than a taught course: there are no lessons. The operator runs a daily activity and animation schedule with beach games and sports tournaments, and fills the evenings with themed shows and a karaoke party. Group leaders travel with the participants and stay on site throughout.

The package covers the return coach journey, nights in the operator’s own three-star Hotel Hygge in Biograd, half board, free soft drinks at the Jugendtours bar through the afternoon, the full activity and animation programme, free hire of snorkelling equipment, beach activities and sports tournaments, and the evening animation with themed shows and karaoke. Travel supervision is included. Both the outward and return legs are overnight coach journeys.

The group stays in Hotel Hygge, the operator’s own three-star house in Biograd na Moru. Rooms are four- to six-bed with shower and WC, air conditioning and satellite television, and some have a balcony. There is free WiFi in the hotel lobby. A double room can be booked instead for a small supplement; the operator does not publish the amount.

Half board is included: a generous breakfast buffet and a buffet dinner. Soft drinks are free at the Jugendtours bar through the middle of the day and the afternoon. Lunch is not part of the package, leaving the middle of the day free for the beach and the town.

Swimming and snorkelling on the Adriatic, with snorkelling equipment lent out at no charge. Beach days with games and team events and sports tournaments run through the day, and the evenings bring animation, themed shows and a karaoke party. Further excursions and extras can be booked once on site; the operator publishes the full list to booked participants about four weeks before departure.

The hotel has a lobby with free WiFi and the Jugendtours bar, where soft drinks are free through the afternoon. Rooms have air conditioning and satellite television. Snorkelling and beach equipment is lent out free of charge.

Biograd na Moru is a small Dalmatian coastal town with a harbour, beaches and a promenade within reach of the hotel. Days are spent in and on the water or at beach sport; evenings are organised by the operator’s team, who are on site for the whole trip. The operator notes that this trip is not suitable for participants with reduced mobility.
