About

About the Course

Fifteen hours of lessons a week in classes of no more than fifteen students. Each student follows one strand for the whole course: English Adventures (general English, open to all levels) or one of five subject strands taught through English at B1 and above — Future Artists, Future Doctors, Future Entrepreneur, Future Global Leaders and Future Scientists. Lessons are interactive and project-based, and each course ends with a Time to Shine presentation in which students show the work they have produced. Every student leaves with a personalised certificate and an academic progress report.

What’s Included

The residential fee covers tuition and course materials, accommodation with full board, the daytime and evening activity programme, standard excursions including entry costs, weekly laundry, Wi-Fi, the graduation certificate and academic progress report, and student insurance. The day option covers the same academic programme with lunch and an evening meal, activities and excursions, but no accommodation and no laundry. Flights and airport or train transfers are not included; the operator offers a transfer service for an additional fee and does not publish its price. A residential deposit per student is payable with the booking and counts towards the course fee.

Accommodation

Students board on the Headington School campus in Oxford. Rooms are single bedrooms, twin rooms and small dorm rooms with shared bathrooms; boarders have a student common room and a weekly laundry service. Pastoral care is provided around the clock by the residential team. Day students follow the same programme and return home in the evening.

Meal Plan

Residential students have full board — all meals are included and served in the school dining hall. Day students have lunch and an evening meal. The operator states it will do its best to meet dietary needs, for example vegetarian, vegan and Halal.

Activities & Excursions

Afternoons and evenings run on a full activity programme: arts and crafts, badminton, ball games, basketball, capture the flag, creative writing, cricket, dance, dodgeball, drama, fitness classes, football, pilates, punting, rounders, sports tournaments, tennis, volleyball and yoga, alongside social evenings — disco, karaoke, quiz night, murder mystery, pizza and film night, international night, talent and fashion shows, treasure hunts and a leavers’ party. Standard excursions, with entry costs included, go to Oxford, London and Thorpe Park.

Facilities

The Headington School campus offers an art studio, a dance studio, a theatre, a lecture hall, smart classrooms, a modern dining hall, a sports hall, a swimming pool and tennis courts. Boarders use single, twin and small dorm rooms with shared bathrooms, a student common room and a laundry service. Wi-Fi is available across the campus.

Camp Experience

Learning at Headington does not stop at the classroom door. Ideas introduced in interactive lessons are put to work in collaborative activities and practical Time to Shine projects, so students apply what they have learned while building confidence, communication and teamwork. Alongside their certificate and reference letter, students go home with better English, friendships across nationalities and the confidence that comes from stepping outside their comfort zone. For parents the promise is simple: every day is purposeful — academically challenging, physically active and spent in an international community.
