Global Achievers Intensive English Summer Course in Oxford

Global Achievers runs at the International House London centre in Oxford for students aged 12 to 17 at intermediate level and above (B1, B2 and C1). Students have 21 English lessons a week with teachers who specialise in young learners, in classes of a maximum of fifteen students. This is the intensive option, with a longer teaching week aimed at students who want faster measurable progress.

The course price covers all tuition and materials, full board accommodation on campus, the activity programme and the study excursions. Airport transfers, the compulsory registration fee and room upgrades are charged separately and are listed as extras.

Students live on the campus of St Edward’s School in Oxford, in a supervised boarding school environment with care available around the clock. Single and twin rooms with ensuite bathrooms can be booked as an upgrade for an additional fee.

Full board is included: breakfast, lunch and dinner are served every day, with a packed lunch provided on excursion days. Special diets and allergies are catered for when they are declared on the booking form.

Afternoons and evenings are given to a supervised activity programme using the school grounds and sports facilities. Study excursions run from an excursion menu with destinations such as London, Bath, Cambridge, Windsor and Oxford, and include walking tours and visits to cultural landmarks.

The Oxford centre is hosted at St Edward’s School. The campus has extensive grounds, sports facilities and boarding accommodation for the programme.

The programme suits students who want to improve their English while living independently in a supervised setting alongside peers of many nationalities. IH young learner centres hold British Council accreditation.
