More about this camp

This camp is run by ESC at Lord Wandsworth College in Hampshire, southern England — a boarding school set in around 500 hectares of countryside. The provider notes 2026 as its tenth year at the venue. Programme and activities. The English side, listed as Explorers and Flyers English, accepts a wide 8 to 17 range. A Football Academy runs alongside for ages 11 to 17, in both residential and day formats. The scale of the grounds means sport and outdoor activity happen on site rather than requiring travel. Accommodation. Students board on the Lord Wandsworth campus. The day format does not include accommodation, suiting families already in the area. Ages, dates and duration. English courses run for 8 to 17; the Football Academy for 11 to 17. Sessions begin in early July, with five listed dates. Families of younger children on the English strand should ask how the youngest are grouped, given the wide band. Location and travel. Lord Wandsworth College is near Long Sutton in Hampshire, within reach of Heathrow and Gatwick and around an hour from London. Transfer arrangements are not published. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit families who want English combined with football on a large rural campus, and those who value the choice of boarding or day attendance. The 8-to-17 English band opens it to younger children than many specialist camps. Families wanting tennis instead should compare ESC's Epsom College camp, and those wanting a city rather than countryside setting should look at ESC's Wimbledon programme.
