St Giles International aims to provide high quality English language education in a friendly, student focused environment, drawing on over 70 years of experience with learners of different ages, backgrounds, and goals. The school's mission is to treat students as individuals, help them find their own voice in English, and create conditions for full language immersion both inside and outside the classroom. It emphasises values of quality, continuous improvement, care, and international experience, while maintaining family ownership and long term relationships with its learners. The teaching approach at St Giles International is learner centred: lessons are built around the aims and needs of each student, and programmes are adjusted according to the group profile and course objectives. Classes make extensive use of pair and group work, task based activities, and real life communication to develop fluency and confidence. Teachers monitor progress through regular feedback, tutorials, and formal assessment so that students can see their development and refine their study plans. Key features include accredited centres in the UK and Canada, a wide range of General English, exam preparation, teacher training, and specialised courses, and multi level classes from beginner to advanced. The school offers modern learning facilities, dedicated student support services, and organised social programmes designed to extend language practice beyond the classroom. More about this camp

The St Giles Juniors Oxford summer centre is held at Oxford International College, a modern campus within walking distance of the historic centre of Oxford. It accepts students aged 12 to 17. Programme and activities. Three courses are associated with the centre: a General English course, an Oxford STEM course and a themed St Giles School of English and Wizardry. The STEM and wizardry options are more distinctive than the general-English programmes that dominate this catalogue — the first offers subject content alongside language, the second a themed setting that tends to appeal to younger teenagers. Dates — please read before planning. No session dates are currently published for any of the three courses, so nothing on this page can be booked as it stands. This does not necessarily mean the centre is not running; it means the calendar has not been published here. Families interested in Oxford should contact St Giles directly to establish which courses are operating, on what dates and at what price, before making any travel arrangements. Accommodation. Students are accommodated in single ensuite rooms in the college residence. The residence is gated and has an internal garden, with close supervision. A single ensuite room in Oxford is a comfortable arrangement by the standards of this catalogue, and the gated site addresses the usual concern about city-based programmes — students are in a contained environment rather than an open campus. Location and travel. Oxford International College is within walking distance of central Oxford. Oxford is around an hour from London by coach or rail, and Heathrow is the most practical airport. Transfer arrangements are not published. Who the programme may suit. This centre may suit families drawn to Oxford who want a modern, secure residence and individual rooms rather than shared boarding-house accommodation, and students interested in STEM alongside English. Because no dates are currently available, treat this as a centre to enquire about rather than one to plan around — the provider's Cambridge, Canterbury and London centres all have published sessions if timing is the deciding factor.
