About the Course
Students choose between a STEM pathway (Biological Natural Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Natural Sciences) and a Humanities pathway (Arts and Literature, Economics, Education and Psychology, International Relations). Expert-led lectures and workshops are delivered by University of Cambridge Fellows, lecturers and researchers, with academic skills training in writing, debating and presenting. The programme ends with a graduation ceremony, a final grade and a certificate.
What’s Included
The programme fee is all-inclusive: subject teaching, academic and pastoral support, College accommodation, full board catering, evening social activities, accompanied day trips and access to College facilities are all included. Flights, visa applications, airport transfers, travel insurance and personal spending are not included. A separate application fee applies.
Accommodation
Students stay in College rooms at Downing College, with bed linen, towels and cleaning services included. Living in historic College accommodation is part of the authentic Cambridge student experience the programme is built around.
Meal Plan
Full board catering is included, with three meals a day served in the historic College Dining Hall. Students also have the opportunity to attend a formal hall dinner.
Activities & Excursions
Evenings feature social activities such as trivia and sports. The programme includes accompanied day trips to London, visiting places like Buckingham Palace, the National Gallery and the British Museum, as well as Cambridge excursions and field trips including guided punting, the Fitzwilliam Museum and King’s College.

Downing College Cambridge
