Camp Dragon is a two-week residential summer camp for children aged 8 to 12, held at the Dragon School in North Oxford. It is built as a first boarding experience: children live in purpose-built accommodation with staff on site, take English lessons in the morning and spend the rest of the day on a wide activity programme and on excursions. Teaching follows a learning-through-play approach rather than coursebooks, with a maximum of fifteen students in a class. Boys and girls are housed in separate houses, each with a large communal area and garden.

About the Course
Fifteen hours of English lessons a week. Lessons are built around fun topics and real-life situations instead of traditional coursebooks, with a maximum of fifteen students in a class.
What’s Included
The fee covers tuition, accommodation, meals, excursions, the social programme, a student report, a certificate and student insurance. Flights are not included, and an airport transfer service is available at an extra cost.
Accommodation
Children live in purpose-built accommodation on the school site, in shared dormitories of four to nine beds with shared bathroom facilities. Boys and girls are housed in separate houses, each with a large communal area and a garden, and staff are on site throughout.

Full board: all meals are included and served on site.
Activities & Excursions
An afternoon and evening activity programme runs alongside lessons, with a choice that includes arts and crafts, basketball, fencing, swimming and robotics. Excursions to Oxford, Warwick Castle and Legoland are included in the fee.
Facilities
The Dragon School campus in north Oxford has an adventure playground, playing fields, a sports hall, a swimming pool, an art studio, a theatre, classrooms and a modern dining hall. Boarders sleep in dorm rooms with shared bathrooms — boys and girls are housed separately — and each house has its own common room. A laundry service and Wi-Fi are available on site.
Camp Experience
The camp is designed as a first boarding experience for children aged eight to twelve, in a supervised setting where staff are present day and night.

Summer Boarding Courses
Summer Boarding Courses (SBC), part of Dukes Education, runs residential and day summer schools for children and teenagers aged 6–17 across a range of UK campuses including Oxford, Cambridge and London. Programmes combine academic subjects and English language with a full afternoon and evening activity programme, cultural excursions and accommodation. Fees include tuition, activities, excursions, accommodation, meals, laundry, a UK SIM card and travel insurance.
