More about this camp

Brooke House College Summer School takes place on the campus of Brooke House College, a co-educational independent boarding school in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, in central England. The summer programme is residential: students live in the college boarding houses for the length of their course. Programme and activities. English tuition is the shared core, and students then select one of several strands: English Plus Karting, English Plus Activities, English Plus Horse Riding, English Plus British Culture, or IELTS Preparation. The IELTS strand is exam-focused, while the others pair language classes with a specific practical activity. Three excursions per week are included, along with a daily activity programme. Accommodation, meals and supervision. Students stay in boarding houses on the Market Harborough campus. Meals are taken in the College dining hall, and staff supervision is provided as part of the residential arrangement. Ages, dates and duration. The programme accepts students aged 11 to 18 across all strands. The 2026 season runs from 28 June to 23 August, with courses booked in blocks of two to four weeks. Published weekly prices range from GBP 1,440 to GBP 1,995 depending on the strand chosen, since the specialist options carry different costs. The residential package includes tuition, boarding accommodation, all meals, activities, three excursions per week, class materials, a report and a certificate. Individual arrival dates and the price for each strand are shown in the session list on this page. Location and travel. Market Harborough is a market town in Leicestershire, in central England, with rail connections towards London and the Midlands. The campus provides classrooms, boarding houses, a dining hall and sports facilities on one site. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit teenagers who want their English course anchored to a specific interest — motorsport, riding, British culture — or who need structured IELTS preparation in a residential setting. The 11-18 age range skews older than many junior camps, so it may suit families whose child would find a programme built around younger children unengaging. Families should confirm which strands are running on their preferred dates, as availability varies by session.
