About the Course

There are no lessons on this programme. The Beachclub is a beach week for ten- to fifteen-year-olds on the Polish Baltic coast, with an organised programme of beach games, water activities, workshops and trips, and free time on the sand and at the holiday complex.

What’s Included

The package covers the stay at the Ferienanlage Komandor in multi-bed rooms with their own shower and WC, catering, the supervised programme and the included activities: beach games, a shopping trip to Kolberg, stand-up paddling on Lake Resko, creative DIY workshops and entry to the Kolberg water park.

Accommodation

The Ferienanlage Komandor stands 150 metres from the bathing beach in Dzwirzyno, a small resort village behind the Baltic dunes about eight kilometres from Kolberg. Campers sleep in multi-bed rooms for up to four people, each with its own shower and WC.

Meal Plan

Balanced catering is provided throughout the stay. Vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, fructose-free and pork-free meals can be arranged if requested at booking. The organiser states that the trip is not suitable for participants with a peanut allergy.

Activities & Excursions

Beach games on the sand, stand-up paddling on Lake Resko, creative DIY workshops, a shopping trip into Kolberg and a visit to the Kolberg water park are all part of the week. The complex itself has table tennis tables and volleyball and basketball courts, a common room and a disco room, a WiFi area and a barbecue area. Extras not already included — a two-day windsurfing course, banana boat rides, a graffiti course and a kayak tour on the Resko — can be booked on site.

Facilities

A holiday complex set back 150 metres from the beach, with multi-bed rooms, a reception and lounge, a common and disco room, a WiFi area, a barbecue area, table tennis tables and volleyball and basketball courts, and a playground with picnic tables under the pines. The village around it has restaurants, kiosks, ice cream parlours, supermarkets, minigolf, a skate park, a climbing park and souvenir shops.

Camp Experience

A beach holiday with company and a programme: the sea is a few minutes' walk through the dunes, the courts and common rooms are on site, and the surrounding village is small enough to be walkable. Counsellors accompany the group throughout.

More about this camp

The Beachclub is based at the Ferienanlage Komandor in Dzwirzyno, a small resort village tucked behind the Baltic dunes about eight kilometres from Kolberg, with the bathing beach 150 metres from the door. Campers sleep in multi-bed rooms for up to four, each with its own shower and WC, and the complex is laid out for a summer holiday: table tennis tables, volleyball and basketball courts, a WiFi area, a common room and a disco room, a barbecue area, and a playground with picnic tables under the pines. The programme leaves plenty of beach time but does not leave the week empty. Beach games run on the sand, stand-up paddling takes the group out onto Lake Resko, creative DIY workshops fill the indoor hours, and two trips go into Kolberg — one for the shops, one for the water park. All of that is part of the package rather than an extra. Things that are not included can be booked on the spot: a two-day windsurfing course, banana boat rides, a graffiti course and a kayak tour on the Resko. The village itself is small and walkable, with restaurants, kiosks, ice cream parlours, supermarkets, minigolf, a skate park and a climbing park. Catering is provided throughout, and vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, fructose-free and pork-free meals can be arranged at booking; the organiser states the trip is not suitable for a participant with a peanut allergy.
