About

About the Course

The Beach & Sportcamp is a supervised activity holiday on and by the water, not a language course. The sports package included in the price covers a canoe trip and stand-up paddling. Guests who want to learn a new water sport or improve what they can already do may add a surfing or sailing course to the booking: catamaran sailing, Optimist dinghy sailing or windsurfing, taught step by step by the operator's German-speaking surf and sailing instructors and leading to a recognised VDS or VDWS licence. One course per booking is chosen; guests who already hold a licence can borrow equipment free of charge outside course hours. Alongside the water, the programme runs bike tours, beach volleyball, creative workshops, action rallies and group games, campfire evenings and a karaoke party, plus the camp's own stage shows.

What’s Included

The price covers coach travel to and from the camp, accommodation, the operator's all-inclusive catering, the children's camp leadership with a 24/7 parent hotline, the sports package with a canoe trip and stand-up paddling, and the holiday programme with the camp's stage shows, bike tours, beach volleyball, creative workshops, action rallies, group games, campfire evenings and a karaoke party. A pocket-money service and daily updates from the camp for parents are part of the package. Surf and sailing courses and the excursions are booked separately.

Accommodation

Guests sleep on the camp's own area, either in a superior tent or in a bungalow, in separate boys' and girls' accommodation. The superior tent for four has mattress beds in two separate sleeping cabins of two beds each with mosquito protection, a PVC floor, shelves, seating, a mirror, light and power; the two-person version has the same fittings with one sleeping cabin. At list price the four-bed superior tent and the multi-bed bungalow cost the same; the two-bed superior tent is an upgrade. After booking, guests can say in the operator's travel portal who they would like to share with.

Meal Plan

All-inclusive catering. The day starts with a breakfast that runs on into brunch, a healthy snack line with fresh food follows in the afternoon, the evening brings a varied buffet, and late-night snacks come later. Water is available around the clock, and vegan and vegetarian options are offered.

Activities & Excursions

On the water: a canoe trip and stand-up paddling are included, and catamaran sailing, Optimist dinghy sailing and windsurfing courses can be added. On land: the camp's own stretch of beach, beach volleyball, a fitness area, bike tours, creative workshops, action rallies and group games, campfire evenings with bread baked on sticks, and a karaoke party, plus the camp's stage shows. Paid excursions booked on site include a day in Amsterdam, the Walibi amusement park, and an adventure overnight stay; a visit to the nearby Nature Island is part of the programme.

Facilities

The camp area is exclusive to the operator and has direct access to its own stretch of beach, beach volleyball courts, a fitness area and a chill-out lounge. Meals are served on site. The water-sports station on the lake is where the canoe trip, the stand-up paddling and the optional surf and sailing courses take place, with equipment available for guests who hold a licence.

Camp Experience

The camp is a straightforward choice for a first holiday without parents: a compact site, direct access to the beach, a large sports offer and a lot of shared activity, so guests spend the day with others of their own age. The journey is short, which is part of why many guests come back. Supervision is by the operator's own children's camp leadership on site, the parent hotline is reachable around the clock, parents receive daily updates from the camp, and a pocket-money service is available.

Frequently Asked Questions

At booking you choose a course in one sport. If you already hold a licence in a sport — a surfing licence, for example — you can borrow equipment free of charge and use it outside course hours.

An official licence is a recognised proof of competence: with it you may hire equipment and sail or surf in many areas without restriction and with legal cover. It shows that you have mastered the necessary safety and handling techniques. The licences of the VDS and VDWS water-sports associations are widespread internationally, standardised, and accepted as valid proof by almost every hire station worldwide.

After booking you can state in the operator's travel portal who you would like to share your accommodation with.
