About
About the Course
Lessons run for 15 hours each week in classes of no more than 13 students, and are open to all levels from A0–A1 Beginner to C1–C2 Advanced. Teaching is built around active participation: students practise vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing, with an emphasis on real-life conversation. Every student takes a placement test and an interview on arrival so they join the right class. All course materials are provided, and students leave with an end-of-course certificate and a progress report.
What’s Included
The programme is sold as a one-week or a two-week package. Both include tuition, the full activity programme, excursions, accommodation with the option chosen at booking, all learning materials, a student pack with an emergency-number wristband and an exercise book, and the certificate and progress report at the end. A non-refundable registration fee of GBP 120 is part of the published price rather than an addition to it.
Accommodation
Students choose between homestay and residential accommodation. Homestay places students with a local host family; residential places them in the school's supervised accommodation. The campus is supervised 24/7. The school does not publish room configurations for either option.
Meal Plan
Both accommodation options are sold full board. In the residential house meals are prepared by an in-house chef and resident staff live on site. In homestay, full board means breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner, and the packed lunches are supplied by the school itself rather than by the host family.
Activities & Excursions
Activities run on four afternoons and two evenings each week, with one full-day and one half-day excursion every week. Published examples include an orientation tour of the city, a graffiti workshop, karaoke, samba drumming, bowling, trampolining, an international disco, boating on the River Avon, and free time for shopping. Full-day excursions to London and Oxford and half-day visits to Bristol and Salisbury are listed for the two-week programme. The school notes that activities and excursions are subject to change and availability.
Facilities
The school occupies two buildings in the centre of Bath, on the main city square, a short walk apart; they include a student cafe and a rear garden. The campus has security on site at all times, and the school states a student-to-staff ratio of about one to fifteen on the summer programme. A Wi-Fi connection is provided in both the residential house and homestay accommodation. The school does not publish a further list of campus facilities.
Camp Experience
The school sits on a city-centre campus on Queen Square in Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its Georgian architecture. Students combine English lessons with a structured social programme and supervised excursions, and the school describes the setting as a caring, supportive environment with 24/7 supervision.
