Residential English and football summer school run by ACCORD ISS on the campus of the Royal Hospital School in the Suffolk countryside, close to Ipswich. Students aged 8 to 17 combine English lessons with football training delivered by the Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK. The school sits within 200 acres of countryside between the Stour and Orwell estuaries, next to a 400-acre water park, and a short walk from Alton Water, home to the school sailing academy. London is reachable by train in about an hour, which makes stadium tours to London football clubs part of the programme. Full board accommodation, meals, supervision and insurance are included in the programme price.

About the Course
English lessons are delivered by ACCORD ISS teachers to students from beginner to advanced level, and the football training is delivered by UEFA coaches following a programme designed by Paris Saint-Germain technical staff. Three programmes are offered: football with English, intensive football, and intensive football with English. Students receive a PSG Academy England certificate, a player report card, an ACCORD ISS course certificate and an English report card.
What’s Included
The programme price covers tuition, full board accommodation on campus, three meals a day, water stations, 24-hour supervision, welfare and pastoral staff, insurance, a training kit and a welcome pack, and a stadium tour for each week of stay. Airport and station transfers and an unaccompanied minor service are available as paid extras.
Accommodation
Boys and girls are accommodated separately in the school boarding houses, in comfortable dormitories of two to four beds, with most rooms being single en-suite rooms. Shared bathrooms, showers and toilets run at a ratio of one bathroom per five students. Common rooms are available where children watch films, listen to music and play board games, and professional staff are resident in the boarding houses to provide 24-hour supervision.
Meal Plan
All meals are buffet-style with salad bars, lean protein options and pasta dishes, and dietary requirements are catered for. Nutrition is treated as part of the sports programme, with a range of healthy and balanced meals served at mealtimes.
Activities & Excursions
Students taking English lessons in the morning join football training with the Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK each afternoon, working on ball mastery, dribbling and passing under UEFA coaches. The programme includes a stadium tour for each week of stay, with London football clubs within reach by train. Sailing is available at Alton Water, home to the school sailing academy.
Facilities
The school has 98 acres of sports fields, a swimming pool, grass football pitches, a gym with cardio machines and a weights room, tennis courts, cricket nets, a sports hall, a fitness suite and sailing facilities. The campus sits within 200 acres of Suffolk countryside next to a 400-acre water park.

PSG Intensive Football
8–17 yrs2026 price
40 hours of football training per week with the Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK. Includes an equipment bundle (training top, polo shirt, tracksuit, rain jacket and data analysis pack with vest and dongle) in addition to the training kit and welcome pack, workshops in nutrition, strength and conditioning, stress management and game analysis, individual data analysis, player statistics and a progress report, small group sessions and one stadium tour per week of stay.
Around forty hours of football a week with the Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK in place of English lessons: daily training sessions designed by PSG technical staff and delivered by UEFA coaches, small group sessions, and evening workshops in nutrition, strength and conditioning, stress management and game analysis.
Intensive football development the PSG way: maintaining possession and controlling the game, with technical, tactical and physical work on ball mastery, passing, shooting, defending, aerial control and understanding of formations. Players get individual data analysis, player statistics and a progress and development report; the academy accepts all abilities and coaches adapt training to each player.

ACCORD International Summer Schools
ACCORD ISS runs residential English language and football summer programmes in the UK, including centres at Royal Hospital School in Suffolk and Rossall School on the north-west coast, and operates the Paris Saint-Germain Academy England residential programmes for ages 8–16. Courses combine English lessons (15 hours per week in classes of up to 14) with sport, activities and excursions; Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) programmes offer 25–40 hours of football training per week. The season ran from early July to August.
